Thank you for your interest in covering the 2013 Presidential Inaugural events. The media credentialing period is now open for media interested in covering events coordinated by the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee. The deadline for all submissions is Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 5:00 PM EDT.
Each media organization interested in covering the events coordinated by the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committee is requested to designate one Media Organization Point of Contact (POC) to receive all further communication from the 2013 PIC Media Credentialing office. This POC is not required to attend or cover the Inaugural events, but will coordinate all coverage and credential requests for the media organization. Please do not submit more than one POC for your organization.
Media organizations interested in covering the Inaugural events can register their Point of Contact (POC) here. Further instructions regarding the credential application process will be sent directly to that POC within 24 hours of submission.
Please note that the Presidential Inaugural Committee is not responsible for credentialing members of the media for the public swearing-in ceremony on the Capitol Grounds; those credentials are handled by the Senate media galleries, and overseen by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. The deadline for requesting credentials for the public swearing-in has passed, but additional information may be found here.
